Applying for the YouTube Subtitle Editor role at Pro-Am Strings

The Pro-Am Strings Violin School is looking for a subtitle editor to subtitle new YouTube videos.

Our YouTube channel is visited by violin players around the world and all our videos are subtitled to allow players who may not understand every word that is spoken, to follow the videos more easily.

Subtitles are auto generated but will need checking for spelling and punctuation and occasionally adapting to make sense.

The subtitle editor will work no more than 3 hours per week max (often less). The job must be done remotely, at any time during the week or weekend. Pay: £11.50 per hour.

Occasionally there may also be other jobs for you to do such as uploading to social media.

Essential skills required:

  • Being able to play a string instrument. Being familiar with string player terminology and general musical terms.
  • Excellent English spelling and punctuation skills.
  • Being organised and a self starter.

Please send your CV with cover letter to Henriette at info@proamstrings.com before 1st August 2024.
